The Sr Engineering Manager - Busbar plays a pivotal role in our efforts to drive standardization, improve cost competitiveness, and enhance design consistency across regions. This position requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and operations, to leverage common standards and design tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive standardization of design to create global platforms tailored to regional needs
  • Balance engineering demand with available capacity, optimizing work effort regionally
  • Improve core engineering processes and tools to streamline design efforts and increase visibility and tracking of status and key work products

This role also involves engaging in engineering activities with customers and programs, defining and improving standard work documentation, and maintaining technical leadership within the industry.

Qualifications:

A degree in engineering and 5+ years of product experience are essential for this position. Deep technical subject matter expertise in power distribution and busbar products, as well as managerial skills, are necessary to plan, measure, and motivate people to continuously improve their output and personal growth.

Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build diverse relationships internally and externally are also required.
