Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified dispensing pharmacist to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the dispensary in accordance with all legal responsibilities pertaining to the profession of pharmacy, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Exercise sound judgment and professional ethics in all aspects of practice, adhering to codes of conduct and best practices.
  • Provide a safe and efficient dispensing service to patients, meeting their needs and expectations.
  • Ensure the safe and effective delivery of medicines to patients, taking into account individual circumstances and requirements.
  • Interact effectively with other healthcare professionals, building strong relationships and partnerships.
  • Manage monthly submissions to payment boards, maintaining accurate records and meeting deadlines.
  • Proactively manage and follow up on claims rejected, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local doctors and other healthcare professionals, identifying opportunities for collaboration and partnership.
  • Seek new business opportunities through approaching nursing homes and other relevant institutions, expanding our services and reach.

Requirements:

  • 3 years qualified pharmacist with experience in dispensing and patient care.
  • PSI-approved Pharmacy Qualification and registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.
  • Ability to deal with high-volume dispensing, managing workload and prioritizing tasks effectively.
