Bretland is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its team. As a key member of the commercial department, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects, from tendering and estimating to contract administration.

Responsibilities
  • Tendering and Estimating: Coordinate the tendering process, prepare estimates, and analyze costs to ensure accurate budgets and schedules.
  • Contract Administration: Manage contracts, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Team Management: Lead and develop a team of surveyors, providing guidance, support, and training to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, build relationships with clients and suppliers, and promote Bretland's services.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Quantity Surveying, 5-10 years of post-qualification experience, and a proven track record in team management, commercial management, and business development. Strong communication and IT skills are essential, as well as proficiency in relevant surveying/accounting packages.
