Job Title: Maintenance Operations Specialist

Job Description:

The role of the Facilities Maintenance Worker is a vital component in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities to a high standard. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs of the building, hydrotherapy pool, plant room areas, and grounds at Enable Ireland Cavan Services.

This includes providing pool attendant duties, for which specific training will be provided if required. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent written, numeric, and verbal communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have a background in maintenance or building services, with a minimum of 3 years' experience working in a similar role. They must also possess excellent IT skills, with experience of Microsoft Office, email, and other relevant software.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, adhering to health and safety protocols, and contributing to a positive team environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years' experience in a maintenance or building services role
  • Excellent written, numeric, and verbal communication skills
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, email, and other relevant software
  • Full Driver's Licence with access to own transport
