Vehicle Electrification Specialist

We are looking for a Vehicle Electrification Specialist to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative electric and hybrid technologies. As a key member of the design team, you will work on designing and developing vehicle suspension, driveline, and powertrain systems for conventional and hybrid-electric vehicles.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop specifications of electrical systems to ensure installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
  • On-site commissioning of electrical systems, prototype hybrid-electric axles and vehicles.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple project requirements, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop CAN bus and hardware signalling protocols.
  • Determine vehicle propulsion and power distribution requirements and select appropriate components.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
  • A strong background in electrical and/or electronic engineering with an interest in electro-mechanical systems vehicle engineering.
  • Prior experience or education in electrical power systems, power electronics, electric machines, programming, embedded systems and controls would be beneficial.
  • A degree in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering (or significant directly relevant experience) is required.
  • Prior experience or education in MATLAB, Simulink, C or C++ along with an understanding of vehicle powertrains would be advantageous.
