This is a part-time, fixed-term role in Northern Ireland. The position will be based in Belfast and will support the Coastal Monitoring and Adaptation Planning project.

About the Role:
  • Provide comprehensive business administrative support to the Seabird Restoration Team.
  • Manage financial processes, travel and accommodation, events, materials and equipment, diary bookings, and fleet car administration.
  • Support the Project Manager with diary management, drafting letters, arranging meetings, and ensuring that staff and volunteers operate efficiently.
  • Build effective relationships with people at all levels, both internally and externally, using diplomacy and tact.
  • Undertake financial management and reporting processes, analysis of information, and provide technical/operational knowledge in functional areas.
  • Support multiple large projects and programmes in accordance with the Project Management Framework.
About You:
  • Must be proactive, collaborative, and well-organized with enthusiasm and commitment to this unique role.
  • Hold at least 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English.
  • Have financial analysis skills, ability to read and understand complex budget information, and experience working with complex budget information.
  • Possess strong IT skills, including working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets, and relevant skills and/or experience aligned to seabird conservation and community engagement.
  • Excel in communication skills, inspiring, influencing, and building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Experience in project teams, coordinating with diverse partners, and confidence in organizing and delivering events, workshops or facilitated discussions.
  • Strong writing skills, with experience producing newsletters, reports, or other communications.
Requirements:
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • No eligibility for UK Visa Sponsorship.
