As a member of the Murphy Water engineering business within the Automation & Operations Department, you will report directly to the Operations & Maintenance Manager. Your primary focus will be on onsite inspection and maintenance of PLC-based electrical control systems and instrumentation.
You will work closely with operations personnel to ensure all electrical and instrumentation installations on projects assigned are installed in accordance with relevant standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Commissioning new electrical equipment onsite
- Maintaining and diagnosing faults in electrical control systems and instrumentation
- Coordinating with operations personnel to achieve compliance
- Modifying existing electrical control and automation systems as required
