We are currently looking for a highly skilled Perioperative Care Specialist to join our team at Excel Recruitment. The successful candidate will provide expert care to patients undergoing surgery, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period.

In this role, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional healthcare services. Your responsibilities will include monitoring patients' post-surgery, assessing and managing pain levels, administering prescribed medications, and promoting healing.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in Perioperative Nursing and Acute Care, as well as dealing with high-dependency patients and managing post-anesthesia care units (PACU). You will also need to possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and manage patients' pain levels
  • Administer prescribed medications and other interventions
  • Coordinate with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals
