Personal Assistant/Executive Assistant

This role provides an exceptional opportunity to work closely with a senior executive and support their daily activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Screen and respond to communications, including emails and invitations, on behalf of the MD.
  • Research information online or via other sources as required.
  • Review, modify, and summarise presentations and documents at senior management/board level.
  • Coordinate and schedule calendars, travel, and diary entries, including business and personal arrangements.
  • Manage events and meetings, including set-up, location, agenda, participants, and facility arrangements.
  • Provide clarity and feedback on actions and outcomes of events/meetings.
  • Serve as a liaison between the MD and stakeholders, including employees and consultants, as directed.
  • Manage recruitment for new team members.
  • Take responsibility for projects and actions to support the MD as required.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external colleagues and assist them in the interests of the MD.
  • Confidently relay instruction and direction from the MD to direct reports and other stakeholders in a firm and respectful manner.
  • Write and collate materials, and proofread documents.
  • Manage accounts to a bookkeeping standard, including expense reports.
Requirements:
  • At least 7 years' experience in a senior executive role.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented.
  • Able to multitask and prioritise well in pressurised environments.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Proactively identify and resolve problems.
  • Car owner with full clean driving license.
