Magnetic Resonance Imaging Specialist
About the RoleThe post holder will be responsible for delivering high-quality Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) services to patients in accordance with professional standards of practice. This will involve working as a member of the Radiology Department and multi-disciplinary teams, providing excellent patient care and contributing to the development and implementation of operational policies and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality MRI services to patients, including conducting diagnostic imaging procedures and producing high-quality images.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve quality, drive performance, and ensure efficiency in the delivery of MRI services.
- Lead and participate in clinical audit and research activities to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of educational programs to enhance the knowledge and skills of staff.
- Participate in the maintenance of accurate information systems for clinical data and report on key performance indicators.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A degree in Radiography or a related field.
- Registration with the Radiographers Registration Board maintained at CORU.
- Not less than 3 years full-time post-qualification clinical experience.
- A recognised postgraduate course or relevant clinical experience in a specialised modality.
