We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hydrologist and Hydraulic Modeller to join our team of technical experts. As a multidisciplinary firm, we are dedicated to shaping a low-carbon future while fostering a workplace culture that promotes growth, flexibility, and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead strategic flood risk assessments for land-use plans in the UK and Ireland.
  • Oversee surveys, hydrological estimation, and statistical analysis.
  • Perform site-specific flood risk assessments for different developments.
  • Provide guidance on structural and drainage considerations to relevant teams.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from various disciplines.
  • Support during Oral Hearings.
  • Mentor junior staff.
Requirements:
  • Eight years of relevant experience and an Honours degree in civil or environmental engineering.
  • Expertise in hydrological estimation methodologies, strategic and site-specific flood risk assessments.
  • 1D-2D flood modeling, particularly with software like ICM.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Leadership qualities and proficiency in communication and report writing.
  • Experience in supervising and mentoring junior staff.
  • Ideal chartered membership in a recognised professional body.
