Accounting Supervisor Opportunity

This role offers the chance to work as a key member of a high-growth team, where you will be responsible for maintaining and reviewing accounting books and records. This includes calculating Net Asset Value, preparing financial statements, and regulatory reporting. You will also develop strong internal relationships within your team and with clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Evaluate the accuracy and timeliness of Fund's Net Asset Value review.
  2. Review expense schedules, income calculations, capital activity calculations, and fund fee calculations.
  3. Maintain established controls during NAV production cycle.
  4. Participate in and lead new Fund launches within your team.
  5. Act as primary point of contact for clients on fund accounting matters related to NAV production.
  6. Build strong relationships within your team and with clients through conscientious query management and problem resolution.
  7. Develop strong product knowledge through exposure to complex fund structures and financial instruments.
  8. Supervise, train, coach, and mentor analysts on core tasks, systems processing/reporting, and procedures.
  9. Participate in department initiatives and group projects as appropriate.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in fund operations, with experience in Alternative Funds and private markets.
  • Effective team player with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, energy, accountability, and drive.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, fluency in English Language (both verbal and written), essential.
