Key Responsibilities

The Civil Engineering Estimator will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing all scope and design documents carefully and thoroughly in preparation of tenders both commercial and technical elements of submissions.
  • BUILDING UP PRICES FROM FIRST PRINCIPLES.
  • Providing estimates and quotations for civil engineering projects.
  • Collaborating with the project team to deliver high-quality projects.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of civil engineering work methodologies and the ability to build up prices from first principles.

Suitable candidates will have a background in civil engineering or quantity surveying and experience working on civils/ roadworks projects.

The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of various standard contract forms eg. NEC, Public Works, FIDIC as well as different methods of measurement eg. TII, CESMM, ARM.

A competitive remuneration package commensurate with experience, including salary, bonus, expenses, pension, other, will be offered to the successful candidate.
