Job Title:
Senior Project Manager for Airport Transformation

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead our airport transformation project from planning and design through to successful completion and commissioning. As the Contracting Entity's representative, you will be responsible for managing the project to time, budget, and specification, ensuring it achieves all project goals and objectives in accordance with our employer's requirements and corporate strategic intent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and monitor the delivery of the project around schedule, interface, cost, variations, contract, and risk.
  • Develop the Project Execution Plan, ensuring the project is aligned to and delivers in accordance with our standards and methods.
  • Liaise with relevant team members and functions as required.
  • Manage the project relationship with the Airport Transformation Manager.
  • Lead the coordination of the project ensuring interfaces are considered and addressed at all stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain the Responsible / Accountable / Consulted / Informed task tracker.
  • Work with technical teams in coordinating and managing design consultants and other external service providers.
  • Organize design review meetings and communicate design acceptance to the Contractor.
  • Communicate design changes to relevant members of the project team and stakeholders who may be impacted.
  • Report monthly on tasks undertaken throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain the overall project risk register and update at monthly progress meetings.
  • Identify opportunities to improve Project Management procedures, templates, and products.
  • Monitor and apply performance management techniques.
  • Manage the change control process.
  • Manage the flow of project information between the team and client through regular meetings and written communications.
Requirements
  • Minimum 15 years experience in Construction/Infrastructure sector including relevant aviation and/or other related projects of similar size and complexity.
  • Understanding of operating in a live airport site.
  • Experience of operating on site, not just office based.
  • Tangible experience of documenting best practice construction project management policies and standards.
  • Track record of delivering construction/asset delivery projects to time and within allocated budget.
  • Knowledge of operating as a client's project manager.
  • Experience of dealing with a range of stakeholders at all levels across the organisation influencing the improvement of process and guidance to support project delivery.
