Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the design and development of automated equipment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, engineering sign-off, installation, and commissioning, as well as experience in automation and mechatronic equipment development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automated equipment, including mechatronic systems and robotics, to meet customer requirements.
  • Create 3D and 2D designs using SolidWorks and Autodesk Inventor, and analyze and optimize designs for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Select and specify components, perform engineering calculations, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage technical documentation, including risk assessments and FMEAs, to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and solve complex problems.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with at least 8 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven expertise in SolidWorks and experience in automation and mechatronic equipment development.
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A full driver's license is required.
