Senior Scientist

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals in a cGMP-compliant environment. The role involves working at a new manufacturing facility in Kilkenny.

• Conduct various sampling activities to support product manufacturing within a cGMP-compliant environment.
• Perform dosimetric analysis, execute dose mapping, and maintain equipment in accordance with GLP, GMP, and ISO 11137 standards.
• Ensure all tasks are performed in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, company policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Contribute to the design and implementation of the site dosimetry laboratory program.
• Prepare, revise, and maintain documentation as required.
• Participate in validation activities related to the dosimetry lab and equipment qualification processes.
• Review and approve laboratory test results.
• Support root cause investigations and provide technical input when needed.
• Respond promptly to unplanned events and out-of-specification results, escalating issues to the Supervisor without delay.
• Analyse and trend data related to environmental and product monitoring, including the creation and presentation of quarterly and annual reports.

• Third-level Science / Manufacturing or equivalent qualification.
• Preferred 2 years' work experience in a Manufacturing / Science / Quality or equivalent environment.
• Electron beam or other sterilisation technologies experience desirable.
• Knowledge in ISO 11137 desirable.
• Chemistry/Microbiology/Dosimetry Lab experience desirable.
