Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at the University of Limerick.

This is a 2-year fixed-term position as part of a Science Foundation Ireland funded project under its Science Policy Research Programme. The project, led by Professor Helena Lenihan, aims to evaluate the impact of science and innovation policies on the economy and society.

The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team comprising international and national experts from top universities and policymakers. The Regional Science Association International (RSAI) is an international community of scholars interested in regional impacts of economic and social change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the impact of science and innovation policies on the economy and society.
  • Collaborate with international and national experts to achieve project goals.
  • Work closely with policymakers to develop effective strategies.

Requirements:

  • PhD in Innovation Studies or a related field.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working in a team environment.
