About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Director to join our team at Barden. As the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our onsite medical services in Ireland and the UK.

The successful candidate will have 4-6 direct reports across Quality, Scheduling, and Logistics. You will work closely with the Managing Director to develop and implement an annual operations plan that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading daily/weekly operations meetings to drive seamless management of clinics and services
  • Effective resolution of issues/challenges or any blockers
  • Overseeing all clinical documentation, processes, and protocols
  • Leading the rostering, scheduling, and recruitment of clinical/medical staff
  • Ensuring strong compliance processes for all staff

In addition, you will be responsible for managing key suppliers, driving productivity and efficiencies within Locum agencies, and taking ownership and driving operational elements of projects.

About the Person

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a Medical/Clinical Degree and experience in Operations Management or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing teams in a small/medium-sized business, strong clinical, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience with process improvement methodologies.
