Industrial Academic

The Munster Technological University is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to fill the role of Lecturer in Manufacturing Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, and academic administration in the area of Manufacturing Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and delivering high-quality educational programs in Manufacturing Engineering
• Conducting research and consultancy work in collaboration with industry partners
• Assessing student performance and evaluating academic programs
• Supervising postgraduate students and providing mentorship
• Contributing to departmental and university committees

Qualifications and Experience:

• Appropriate honours degree in an engineering-related discipline or equivalent
• Three years relevant post-qualification experience in the manufacturing sector
• Desirable skills: significant experience in program design and development, lean six sigma industrial process, leadership capacity, continuing professional development, and post-graduate qualification

Benefits:

• Fixed-term contract for two years
• Full-time position with a salary scale of €68,253 - €105,605 per annum

Eligibility Criteria:

• Open to citizens of the European Economic Area (EEA) or non-EEA nationals with a valid work permit
