Job Overview

This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the Biotech Drug Substance facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine microbiological analytical techniques in compliance with GMP requirements.
  • Complete all documentation on time, familiar with laboratory information management systems.
  • Train and be trained in rapid microbiology techniques including endotoxin testing, water bioburden testing, EM testing, absence of bioburden testing, and identification testing.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest analytical practices in accordance with pharmacopoeias, specifications, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and GLP within the laboratory environment.
  • Participate in risk assessments, inspections, audits, incident investigations, and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years' relevant experience in analytical microbiology in a GMP setting.
  • Critical skills in analytical microbiology and knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
  • Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and external partners.
Qualifications & Education
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in science (microbiology preferred).
