The Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced finance professional with a strong background in regulated payments and treasury operations. The ideal candidate will possess a balanced set of skills in both leadership and payment operations, with a proven track record of driving business growth and improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of finance professionals to ensure smooth operation of payment and treasury functions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement effective operational and financial controls
- Assess and design new processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Manage large cross-functional projects, driving progress through collaboration and task prioritization
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a senior finance professional in a regulated environment
- Strong knowledge of card and banking payments, e-money or wallet products/services, and banking functions
- Direct experience executing and managing activity for financial regulatory requirements and reporting
- Extensive experience with card issuers, ideally Mastercard; Visa is also acceptable
- Ability to communicate effectively with regulators and provide high-quality information
- Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or an equivalent professional qualification such as ACCA
