Job Title

Postdoctoral Researcher (0.8) FTE for the CO-BIOECON Project

This fixed-term position is available from 01/10/2025 to contract end date of 31/07/2026.

  • The successful candidate will be part of the Discipline of Geography, collaborating with the University of Galway and UCD on the CO-BIOECON Project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research in collaboration with project partners.
  • Develop a co-designed regional strategy for the bio-economy.
  • Apply exemplars of best practice in the agri-food sector.
  • Work with land-use systems as a governing framework for the bio-economy.

Requirements:

  • Postdoctoral Researcher salary scale €46,305 - €59,063 per annum.
  • Pro rata for shorter and/or part-time contracts.
  • Default position at the 1st point of the salary scale.
