Senior Mechanical Engineer - Building Services

PM Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Dublin. The successful candidate will have excellent technical expertise and leadership skills, with the ability to design and manage complex building services systems.

  • Design and manage building services systems, including HVAC, utilities, plumbing, and fire protection for large-scale projects.
  • Lead the design process from concept to handover, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Develop and guide teams working under your supervision, providing training and mentoring as needed.
  • Liaise with designers, clients, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in building services design, developing PM Group's design capability.
  • Conduct onsite inspections to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards.
  • Develop and implement BIM environments to enhance collaboration and efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years' experience in designing building services systems, preferably in a consultancy environment.
  • Chartered Engineer or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Experience of working in a collaborative BIM environment.
