Job Title: Digital Services Technician

We are seeking a skilled digital services technician to perform various tasks related to printing, scanning, and equipment maintenance on a 12-month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Print and finish in-house printed materials, discussing user needs and advising on options to meet requirements.
  • Create text documents and graphics using various software applications, including Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office.
  • Maintain multi-functional devices and ensure they are stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Extract information from weekly till rolls and prepare bulk copying figures for internal billing.
  • Process orders for company publications, including packaging, dispatch, and invoicing.
  • Advise on equipment selection and demonstrate use of laptops, digital cameras, and other equipment.
  • Provide demonstrations and training sessions to staff and clients on the use of digital cameras and other equipment.
  • Receive, log, and escalate service requests as a point of contact for the IT helpdesk facility.
  • Assist the digital services team with user and equipment support, including MFDs, AV equipment, and client PCs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • GCSE English or Maths Grade C or above (or equivalent qualification)
  • Good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft packages
  • At least 6 months printing experience using MFDs and at least 6 months scanning experience using MFDs
