Job Title: Carpenter for Formwork and Shuttering

The role of a Formwork and Shuttering Carpenter is to construct moulds and formwork for concrete structures based on project specifications.

This involves constructing formwork and moulds with accuracy and precision, measuring and cutting materials as required. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry or construction and hold relevant qualifications or certifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formwork Construction: Construct formwork and moulds for concrete structures according to project specifications.
  • Temporary Structure Installation: Install and dismantle temporary structures used in concrete pouring, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Tool Management: Ensure the availability of own tools and maintain them in good working condition.
  • Transportation: Preferably own transport for easy movement around the work site.
Requirements:
  • Relevant Qualification: Hold a relevant qualification or certification in carpentry or construction.
  • Safe Pass Certification: Possess Safe Pass certification for working at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Manual Handling Training: Have completed manual handling training to ensure safe lifting and moving of materials.
