**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a New Graduate Staff Midwife in the Maternity Department at HSE Dublin and Midlands.

The successful candidate will provide evidence-based midwifery care to women, babies, and their families in a safe and effective manner. They will work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality services and contribute to the development of the Antenatal Outpatient Service and Community Service.

  • **Eligibility Criteria:**
  • Must be a current 4th year midwifery degree student undergoing the 36 week clinical placement or have successfully completed the clinical and academic requirements of their BSc (Honours) Degree in Midwifery in September and who will be eligible for registration thereafter with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland [NMBI].
  • Annual Registration: On appointment, practitioners must maintain live annual registration on the Midwives Division of the Register of Nurses and Midwives maintained by the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland [NMBI] (Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann).
  • Confirm annual registration with NMBI to the HSE by way of the annual Patient Safety Assurance Certificate (PSAC).
