Job Description:

Sales and merchandising professionals represent their brand in stores daily, focusing on building, maintaining and optimising product displays. This involves maximising shelf space, ensuring visibility of all products and leveraging promotional opportunities to drive sales.

Key responsibilities include developing and sustaining strong working relationships with in-store personnel to ensure active co-operation in displaying the brand's products. Merchandisers also manage stock rotation to minimise wastage, which may involve heavy lifting on occasion. They accurately record relevant information in-store, including reporting on completed merchandising tasks and competitor displays.

Requirements:

Previous merchandising or retail experience is essential for this role. A high level of energy and enthusiasm is required, as the position may be physically demanding. Self-motivated individuals who can work independently and as part of a team are ideal candidates. Excellent customer service skills and proficiency in IT, particularly handheld technology, are also necessary.
