As a Production Operative at Kepak, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of daily operations to meet customer demand for our top-quality products.
You will work alongside other skilled operatives on the factory floor, contributing to achieving our goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work in the production area conducting various tasks, such as line operation, packing, cleaning, distribution etc.
- Lift weights of at least 15kgs, stand for 4+ hours and be able to move around the factory floor without assistance.
- Maintain the highest standards of product quality and report any issues to the Line Supervisor immediately.
- Co-operate with all company training, asking questions and ensuring satisfaction in relation to all aspects of the area and role.
- Report accidents or near misses and assist with investigations as required.
- Participate fully in Lean Manufacturing processes and embrace new methods of working.
Requirements & Skills:
- Flexible working attitude and strong work ethic
- Good team player with previous experience in a manufacturing environment (beneficial)
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work in a cold environment for extended periods
