Senior Baker

The successful candidate will have previous experience as a baker or pastry chef in a reputable establishment. A strong passion for seasonal, locally sourced ingredients and creative baking is essential. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational and time-management skills, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts to a consistently high standard.
• Incorporate seasonal and garden-fresh ingredients into recipes.
• Assist in menu planning and development of bakery items.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene within the bakery.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies when required.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and cohesive menu delivery.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a baker or pastry chef in a hotel, restaurant, or artisan bakery.
• Passion for seasonal, locally sourced ingredients and creative baking.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, bread-making, and dessert preparation.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
