The role of a Team Leader is pivotal in the delivery of high-quality care and support services.

As a member of the management team, you will play a key part in ensuring that contractual requirements and standards are met and maintained.

  • Key responsibilities include developing and implementing personalised care/support plans and individual risk assessments.
  • You will also be responsible for delivering quality care/support, managing budgets and resources, and mentoring and supervising the Support Team.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A professional qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
  • Registration on the NISCC register or eligibility for registration.
  • At least two years' experience in a social care setting providing support/care.
  • Working knowledge of the needs of people with learning and physical disabilities.
  • Effective Communication and IT skills.
  • A full current driving licence and access to a vehicle.
