Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Operations Manager to join our team in Athlone, Co. Westmeath. As a key member of our Logistics Team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a high-performing warehouse team, managing daily operations, and ensuring the smooth execution of logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff to achieve targets and deliver outstanding service.
  • Manage and organise daily picking requirements, monitor warehouse operations, and ensure all orders are completed in line with customer commitments.
  • Ensure accuracy on pick, pack, shipments, and inventory transactions, adhering to Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards.
  • Support the team to grow their skills and promote development within the team.
  • Organise and maintain inventory and storage area, ensuring efficient use of space and resources.
  • Assist with resolving operational irregularities and customer complaints, demonstrating a customer-centric approach.
  • Identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions, driving continuous improvement and process excellence.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Team Lead or equivalent role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build effective relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Results-driven with excellent attention to detail, able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficient in MS Office skills, particularly Excel, and administrative skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of English (verbal/written).
  • Good organisational and time management skills, able to prioritise tasks effectively.
