BMS System Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to lead the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing site's Building Management System (BMS). This role involves collaborating with engineering and operations teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize system performance, and implement upgrades.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the work of equipment vendors and trade partners, ensuring that system requirements are met, software design and testing align with standards, and functional specifications are approved.
Additional responsibilities include managing system projects, developing strategies for compliance and operational efficiency, and promoting automation to enhance productivity.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in Biopharma engineering, operations, or manufacturing.
- Experience with Siemens Desigo CC application, PLC/HMI configuration, industrial communication protocols, and backup and restore processes.
- Possession of strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent collaboration and influencing skills.
Preferred Skills:
- 5+ years of experience as an engineer in a highly automated environment supporting BMS systems in pharmaceutical/life science industries.
- Knowledge of automation networking, system administration, panel design, change control, instrumentation, and troubleshooting automation systems.
