Senior Consultant, Property Fund Accounting

Role/ Department:
The Real Estate and Infrastructure (REIF) Team at Northern Trust is renowned for its expertise in Fund Administration services to the Irish Real Estate market. This role presents an exceptional opportunity to develop knowledge and experience in a dynamic client environment and work closely with niche asset managers.

Fund Accounting & overall Accounting

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Fund Accounting requirements for Property Funds.
  • Collate relevant information to facilitate production of NAVs.
  • Ensure accurate and timely issuance of NAVs.
  • Liaise with new clients to determine fund structure and level of detail required to support striking of NAV.
  • Establish effective communication channels with clients and external auditors to address audit queries.
  • Maintain agreed client service levels and regulatory filing deadlines.
  • Prepare interim and annual financial statements for Property Funds, including consolidated financial statements for complex cross-border structures.

Skills and Qualifications:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Consultant, Property Fund Accounting. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of accounting principles and standards, and experience in Fund Accounting. Additionally, the candidate should have a professional accountancy qualification and in-depth Functional / Industry Knowledge.
