Job Title:

Theatre Nursing Supervisor

This position seeks to ensure excellence in patient care by effective supervision of resources and a well-educated team.

  • Supervise theatre staff to maintain high standards of patient care and hospital protocol.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to improve processes and practices and identify areas for quality improvement.
  • Monitor staffing levels according to patient dependency and activity on the ward.
  • Ensure duty rosters and annual leave arrangements are made in line with hospital protocol and patient care needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Registration with the NMBI
  • Minimum 5 years post-registration nursing experience, including at least two years in a managerial or supervisory role
  • Minimum 3 years theatre experience
  • Experience in Orthopedics is desirable
