We are seeking a talented Commissioning Engineer to join our AWS Infrastructure Services team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure.
About the TeamAWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on.
The successful candidate will work closely with software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles to deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Support vendors, contractors, and other teams in the construction and commissioning of various systems.
- Provide multi-discipline input into scheduling, test script development, designing, and planning of projects.
- Review component submittal packages, lead factory witness testing, and perform system level and integrated system testing.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, quality, and safety requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline preferred.
- 5+ years of experience directly related to mission critical facilities or data center infrastructure.
- 3+ years of commissioning experience.
- Certification or training specific to NETA, ASHRAE, or Commissioning specific education courses.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestic and internationally for approximately 50% of the time.
