DevOps Lead

The role of DevOps Lead is a pivotal position in our SAP Commerce Cloud development lifecycle.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop innovative automation solutions using DevOps tools and scripting to streamline manual tasks within the SAP Commerce Cloud deployment process.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps trends and technologies related to SAP Commerce Cloud, evaluating and implementing best-fit solutions for CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Lead the adoption and implementation of cloud-based infrastructure for SAP Commerce Cloud deployments and management, ensuring compliance with SAP cloud best practices.
  • Foster a collaborative DevOps culture that promotes open communication and breaks down silos between development, operations, and security teams specific to SAP Commerce Cloud deployments.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve the CI/CD pipeline tailored for SAP Commerce Cloud deployments, ensuring fast, reliable, and secure deployments of e-commerce experiences.
  • Establish performance monitoring tools and dashboards to proactively identify and troubleshoot issues within SAP Commerce Cloud deployments, defining clear alerting mechanisms for timely notifications.
  • Integrate security best practices throughout the SAP Commerce Cloud deployment lifecycle, including secure coding practices, vulnerability scanning, and secure deployments following SAP security protocols.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficient in SAP Commerce Cloud architecture, functionalities, and deployment strategies, with a deep understanding of its integration within the overall IT landscape.
  • Expertise in DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms is required.
  • Strong analytical skills are necessary to troubleshoot issues, optimize processes, and drive continuous improvement.

    • Proven experience in designing and implementing automation solutions using DevOps tools and scripting languages for SAP Commerce Cloud deployments.
    • In-depth understanding of CI/CD pipelines, configuration management tools, and their application within the SAP Commerce Cloud environment.
    • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience with SAP Cloud Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) a plus.
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
    • Passion for building and optimizing DevOps processes for high-performance and secure SAP Commerce Cloud deployments.
