Financial Accountant Opportunity

This position offers a chance to work in a large EMEA finance team as a Financial Accountant. The initial 12-month FTC has a strong view of going permanent, providing an excellent route to progress your career.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support on the Financial Reporting across various entities.
  • Bank, Prepayments and Fixed Asset Accounting.
  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare various external compliance reports.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close processes for given entities including commentary.
  • Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that all taxes including payroll, corporate tax and VAT are reported and paid/collected to/from the relevant authorities within prescribed timelines across the relevant entities.
  • Ensure internal and external financial reporting deadlines are met.
  • Liaise with internal audit department to ensure timely completion of audits, SOX control testing and implementation of any recommendations.
  • Manage and develop relationship(s) with external service providers and ensures delivery of service level with agreed targets as necessary.
  • Support on any ad hoc projects.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant.
  • Financial, tax & statutory accounting experience.
  • Strong financial and logistics systems skills.
  • Advanced Excel.
