Role OverviewThe company is seeking a full-time onsite Legal Professional to join their busy practice. The successful candidate will work as part of a team in the litigation department, handling Personal Injury Litigation and Medical Negligence Litigation cases.
Key Responsibilities:- Application Preparation: Research and draft applications for clients.
- Counsel Briefing: Assist counsel in drafting proceedings documents.
- Proceedings Perfection: Ensure court documents are accurate and complete.
- Reply Drafting: Respond to client inquiries and draft replies.
- Discovery Request Management: Manage discovery requests from opposing parties.
- Case Scheduling: Schedule trials and hearings.
- Document Preparation: Prepare and review legal documents.
- Legal Research and Development: Stay up-to-date on relevant laws and procedures.
- Client Liaison: Communicate with clients regarding case progress.
- Proficiency in Law and Regulations: Strong knowledge of Irish law and regulations.
- Experience in Case Management Systems: Familiarity with case management software.
- Litigation Practice Understanding: Understanding of Irish litigation practices.
- Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
- Prior Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role.
