Excel Recruitment Healthcare is seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our Community Mental Health team in Portlaoise. In this role, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions to individuals and groups.

About the Position

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Adult Mental Health and the ability to work effectively in a supportive environment. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to present information and practical activities to groups and within individual sessions.

Your experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team and your ability to contribute to Individual Care Plans and discharge planning will be highly valued. Additionally, your ability to complete some generic mental health work, such as intake assessment, under close supervision will be essential.

Key Requirements
  • BSc in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
  • Full CORU registration
  • Ability to work effectively in a supportive environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
