Hunter Savage is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to oversee the implementation and maintenance of our food safety and quality systems.
Main Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain comprehensive food safety and quality procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards.
• Collaborate with site management and team leaders to drive a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement.
• Provide training and guidance to site staff on food safety and quality standards, ensuring a culture of compliance and awareness.
• Manage the hygiene department and external cleaning contractors to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are consistently met.
Requirements:
• A third-level qualification in a relevant field, such as food science or quality assurance.
• 3-5 years' experience in a Food Safety or Quality Assurance role, preferably within a bakery or food manufacturing environment.
• Strong auditing experience, including internal, customer, regulatory, and third-party audits.
• Proven leadership skills, with experience in managing people and leading teams to achieve quality goals.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in using computer systems and software.
