The Position

We are currently seeking an experienced Hedge Fund Accountant Manager to join our client's team. As a key member of the fund accounting operations team, you will play a critical role in overseeing daily workflows, ensuring accuracy, and managing a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Train and supervise team members to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
  • Plan and schedule daily workflows for all client relationships within your account, ensuring timely delivery of reports and meetings.
  • Liaise with clients regarding reporting requirements and deadlines, providing excellent customer service.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients and other fund participants, maintaining strong relationships and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain relationships with investors, investment advisors/managers, banks, brokers, auditors, and other fund participants.
  • Develop and implement staffing targets, production goals, overtime budgeting, and productivity standards to drive team performance.
  • Ensure all staff are appropriately trained and conduct regular performance evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Meet expectations of fund participants and adhere to deadlines, demonstrating a strong commitment to quality and timeliness.
  • Assist auditors and other fund participants and advisers as needed, providing support and guidance to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Participate in presentations to existing and prospective clients, showcasing your expertise and knowledge of hedge fund accounting.
  • Lead and contribute to projects related to the expansion and development of the business, leveraging your experience and leadership skills to drive growth and success.
