Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Engineer to join our team on an exciting new building project in Limerick city. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting your work in a safe manner, ensuring all works are carried out to the highest Health and Safety standards. You will also be responsible for implementing BAM's quality control procedures and project specific procedures. This includes ensuring setting-out information is relevant and available in a format that can be easily communicated on site, and developing and maintaining professional working relationships with work colleagues and Design Teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting work in a safe manner and ensuring all works are carried out to the highest Health and Safety standards.
  • Implementing BAM's quality control procedures and project specific procedures.
  • Ensuring setting-out information is relevant and available in a format that can be easily communicated on site.
  • Developing and maintaining professional working relationships with work colleagues and Design Teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need a third level degree in Engineering, a minimum of 5 years' experience as a site engineer, and experience working with a main contractor, subcontractor, surveying firm or similar. You will also need excellent communication skills, a good understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental regulations, and a proactive and driven approach to your work.
