Our goal is to find a highly motivated engineer who can drive projects through to completion. We are looking for someone who is excited to shape a platform that allows teams to register, schedule, and control jobs based on requirements with minimal latency.

The successful candidate will be part of a team that designs, builds, and operates services used by developers across the globe. This hybrid role involves at least one day onsite in the office, where you'll tackle scale, distributed systems challenges, and customer-facing operations while working with cutting-edge AWS serverless tech.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Writing code that is testable, readable, and maintainable.
  • Performing code reviews.
  • Engaging in technical and architectural discussions and decision-making.
  • Proactively automating processes and improving code quality.
  • Troubleshooting issues using distributed logging and tracing.
  • Supporting internal development teams by answering questions and creating sample code.
  • Participating in on-call rotations to support production systems.

Key Qualifications include:

  • 4 years of hands-on software development experience in Go or Python.
  • 4 years of experience leveraging public cloud infrastructure components like compute, caches, and databases.
  • Experience implementing unit and integration tests.
  • Understanding of DevOps best practices.
  • Good self-management skills and the ability to track and prioritise multiple tasks coming in simultaneously.
  • Experience working with containers.
  • Experience building apps on AWS using ECS/EKS, Step Functions, Lambda.
  • Experience with Agile software development practices.
  • Good understanding of networking and security concepts.
