About the Role

We are seeking an Electrical Systems Designer to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Mullingar. The successful candidate will focus on designing and implementing electrical systems for industrial machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems for industrial machinery, including integration with pneumatic components and circuits.
  • Create detailed electrical and pneumatic schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings using EPLAN software.
  • Select suitable components and materials according to project requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure technical and functional compliance.
  • Conduct risk assessments and guarantee adherence to electrical safety regulations.
  • Provide hands-on technical support during installation, commissioning, and testing.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues to enhance system performance.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation including drawings, manuals, and technical specifications.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience as an Industrial Electrical Designer or similar role, with exposure to pneumatic systems.
  • Proficiency with CAD software for electrical design (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and industrial automation principles.
  • Familiarity with relevant electrical safety standards (NEC, IEC, etc.).
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
