**Job Title:** Senior Structural Engineer

Overview

PM Group is a leading International engineering, architecture, project and construction management firm with offices in Europe, Asia and the US. We deliver complex, capital projects in various sectors.

We are looking for a Principal Structural Design Engineer to join our Structural Department in Cork.

The role will suit an experienced Structural Engineer with design experience who has previously led large scale projects in the Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences and Mission Critical sectors from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Experience across a broad range of structural engineering projects
  • Industrial buildings experience (Pharmaceutical, Food or Energy projects) is advantageous
  • Managing a team of Engineers and Designers to develop structural packages on tender and construction
  • Coordination with other offices to understand scope of work, deliverables, timelines and resources
  • Progress reporting and resource hour control for the Structural Scope

Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years post-graduate experience working for Engineering Consultancies
  • A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent
  • Chartered status is desirable
