Occupational Therapist - Mental Health Specialist
**Job Description:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing exceptional care to individuals with severe and enduring mental illness. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for leading and managing an Occupational Therapy caseload in a hospital setting, ensuring the highest standard of clinical care is delivered.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assess and diagnose residents' needs, developing tailored treatment programs that meet local and national standards.
- Collaborate with residents, families, carers, and healthcare staff to set goals and plan interventions.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary teams, contributing to comprehensive care planning and delivery.
- Maintain accurate clinical records of assessments, interventions, and discussions.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Registration on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by CORU.
- A degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification, eligible for AOTI membership.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations affecting healthcare organisations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork abilities, and IT proficiency.
