About the Role

The Senior Facilities Leadership Position oversees and evolves facilities functions in line with future needs and strategic ambitions. The role requires defining and implementing workplace policies, creating plans and roadmaps to bring these strategies to life, and ensuring alignment with business goals while maintaining cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and implement health and safety policies in line with current legislation and recognised industry standards.
  • Develop plans and execution roadmaps to bring these strategies to life, ensuring they align with business goals while remaining cost-effective.
  • Oversee risk management by conducting assessments to pinpoint potential dangers and implementing preventive measures to reduce incidents.
  • Lead the design and rollout of health and safety training initiatives for all employees and applicable third-party contractors.
  • Collaborate on investigations into health & safety incidents, driving root cause analysis, corrective actions, and risk mitigation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of health and safety activity and prepare reports and insights for stakeholders.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance by staying abreast of changes in health & safety legislation and understanding their impact.
  • Work closely with teams to reinforce a safety-first mindset and uphold required accreditations.
  • Oversee external service partnerships in facilities management, security, and catering, ensuring service excellence and cost efficiency.
  • Direct the execution of facilities-related projects from planning through to delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 8 years' experience in managing health & safety.
  • A minimum of eight years' experience in overseeing health and safety functions.
  • Solid knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and legal requirements.
  • Proven background in managing workplace facilities and overseeing third-party service providers.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams through periods of change and transition.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Well-developed operational and process management capabilities, with experience in service-oriented or operations-driven settings.
