Galway Tax Expert - Corporate Tax Specialist

  • Seeking a motivated and ambitious Corporate Tax Specialist to join our Financial Accounting & Reporting team in Galway.
">

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly analytical and conceptual thinker with experience in tax compliance, preferably from a Big 4 or Top 10 practice. As a Senior Tax Accountant on the Financial Accounting & Reporting team, your role will be focused on applying best practices to direct and indirect taxation services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Complete corporate tax and VAT analysis, filing, submissions, and reconciliations for the EMEA region.
  2. Enhance direct and indirect tax structures, prepare VIES and statutory returns, take responsibility for transfer pricing, as well as corporation tax management, and manage filing of tax returns for EMEA entities.
  3. Collaborate continuously with your Indirect Tax Manager and Tax Compliance Manager to keep abreast of changes in tax and VAT issues that may affect the company and business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Tax or Finance professional (e.g., CTA, AITI, ACA, ACCA) with experience in tax compliance from either practice or industry.
  • A can-do attitude and lots of ambition are must-haves for this role.
