Job Title: Quantitative Strategist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply observation skills and modern statistical methods to identify and build predictive models.
  • Research and implement new trading strategies.
  • Analyze existing strategies to identify potential improvements.
  • Develop risk models and frameworks to manage portfolio risks.
  • Create tools to automate research tasks and improve visualization of complex data sets.
Requirements:
  1. PhD in Science, Math, Engineering or other quantitative field.
  2. History of diverse, challenging, and interesting coursework paired with strong grades.
  3. Exceptional quantitative, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
  4. Great communication skills and the ability to collaborate with peers.
  5. Ability to solve technical and/or quantitative problems under pressure.
  6. Ability to express ideas mathematically and algorithmically.
  7. Programming skills (strong in Python and/or C/C++ but comfortable in both).
  8. Intellectually curious and self-motivated.
  9. Ability to communicate within and across teams, at a high and low level, on both technical and non-technical subjects.
  10. Ability to seek guidance and learn new skills from peers.
  11. Extraordinary mental flexibility and a high tolerance for ambiguity.
  12. Strong drive for success within a collaborative team.
