Sustainable Energy Project Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced project leader to manage the delivery of large-scale renewable energy projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and execution of these projects from concept to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full project lifecycle of renewable energy developments, including wind, solar, and battery storage.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, environmental consultants, planners, and contractors.
  • Oversight of project planning, budgeting, risk management, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Engage with clients, regulatory authorities, landowners, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental, and planning regulations.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Environmental, or related discipline); PMP or equivalent certification is desirable.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience, ideally within the renewable energy or infrastructure sector.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale energy or infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of Irish planning and regulatory frameworks for renewable energy.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
  • Familiarity with grid connection processes in Ireland.
  • Experience working with public sector clients or EU-funded projects.
